2Do I need a Visa to come to Indonesia?
American and European citizens please note: you will need one blank page in your passport to gain entry to Bali. Your passport must have at least 6 months validity. Villa Bukit Naga can provide VIP immigration clearance for its guests for an additional fee; meaning, you can skip the immigration line. A representative will meet you at the airport arrival gate and arrange your Visa on Arrival (VOA).
3What is a Wellness Retreat?
Villa Bukit Naga has worked closely with professionals in a variety of personal-improvement disciplines such as yoga instructors, life coaches, healers and nutritionists to create Wellness Retreats. These retreats can be tailor-made to suit a group's needs and can include yoga classes, diet menus, life coaching, energy healing, and on-site spa treatments.
4Are yoga classes and spa treatment available to the villa?
Our on-site villa manager can arrange yoga classes and spa treatments for you at the villa, with 24-hour notice. Or, our driver can take you to enjoy yoga classes and spa treatments at selected sites in Bali, all of which can be arranged through our villa manager.
5Is there a gym at the villa?
Yes, we have an air-conditioned gym with a yoga mat, treadmill and weight training equipment, complete with a TV and DVD player for your enjoyment.
6Is the pool safe for toddlers and small children?
We do not have a lifeguard on duty at Villa Bukit Naga. There are flotation toys available for recreational use, but these are no substitute for life preservers, parental vigilance and common sense are required. There is no fence preventing access to the pools although access from the main house is restricted at night. Care should be taken to ensure small children are supervised at all times.
7Do your staff babysit?
Although not professional child-minders, all of our staff have young families and are wonderful with children. Should you need to arrange child minding, please contact the villa manager 24 hours prior to the time needed. Babysitting is limited to 6 hours, and please kindly consider a gratuity to our staff for this extra service.
8Is there a doctor close by?
All Villa Bukit Naga staff are trained in first aid. We also carry standard first aid supplies and partner with a local medical practice (Ubud Clinic) that can offer general practitioner services via house call.
9Is there laundry service at the villa?
Yes we have full laundry service for our guests at reasonable cost.
10Are mosquitoes a problem?
Villa Bukit Naga takes every precaution to safeguard the property against all pests and insects.
11Is the tap water drinkable at the villa?
Bottled water is provided for guests.
12Can the chef accommodate special dietary requirements?
Villa Bukit Naga chef is happy to work with guests to ensure their dietary needs are met wherever possible and encourage guests to provide grocery lists to ensure that culinary needs are catered for.
13What are my dining options at Villa Bukit Naga?
You can create your own menus at the villa, and our chef will prepare whatever you desire. Food is charged at cost plus 35% for preparation. A selection of beverages and snacks are available to you at all times. Alternatively, our villa manager can book a table for you at any of the areas excellent restaurants, including the award-winning Mozaic, voted one of Asia's hottest tables by Conde Nast Traveller.
14Do you take credit card?
We are happy to accept Visa and MasterCard for a 3.5% surcharge, in local currency.
15Are taxes included or is there a service charge for food and drinks?
All prices are subject to 10% government tax. Villa Bukit Naga does not add a service charge to your bill. We rely on the travel experience of our guests and excellent service from our staff to inspire a staff gratuity from guests.
